ABOUT PTEF
The Pike Township Educational Foundation, a not-for-profit 501 (c) (3) organization, was organized in 1993 to enhance the education of Pike students through scholarships and grants for teacher-driven projects. Since 1993, more than $120,000 in scholarships has been awarded to graduating Pike seniors, over $170,000 has been used for teacher recognition and outreach programs, and over $300,000 has been awarded in grants. Governed by a volunteer Board of Directors, the Foundation is a separate entity from the Pike Township Schools and its Board of Education. The Foundation is self-supporting through founding members, fund-raisers, corporate sponsorships, and private donations. The Board of Directors is made up of Pike parents, retired Pike educators, and Pike business owners.
