INFORMATION
The Metropolitan School District of Pike Township's Board of Education (school board) consists of seven school board members, each of whom is elected for a four year term. Elections for positions on the Board of Education are held every two years (on even years), with three of the seven positions filled during one election cycle and the remaining four positions filled during the subsequent election two years later. The Pike Township Educational Foundation sponsors a forum before each election to help the community get to know the candidates so that you can make an informed decision.

The Board of Education Candidates Forum is free and open to the public.

Note: The Board of Education Candidates Forum is usually held in April on even years before the May primary election. See the Calendar of Events and Deadlines for date, time, and location.
