Each spring, the PTEF recognizes teachers for excellence in service to Pike Township Schools and its students through the Celebrations Teacher Awards Banquet. Guests are treated to an elegant dinner, door prizes, live music, and raffle items. New grant recipients are announced, and PTEF honors an outstanding Pike teacher with the Champion Teacher Award. The PTEF also awards a check in recognition of the Teacher of the Year, a distinct honor given annually to a certified teacher who is nominated and selected by his or her peers. |
