GRANTS OVERVIEW
Each spring and fall, the Pike Township Educational Foundation offers thousands of dollars in grants to teachers and other educators in Pike Township to finance innovative ideas for helping children learn. Grants can affect a single classroom, a school, or the whole district. Since 1993, the PTEF has distributed over $330,000.00 in grants thanks to our generous donors!

The PTEF offers several grant writing workshops before each grant cycle to help educators write and submit their grant applications.

Note: The deadline for the spring grant cycle is usually in March. The deadline for the fall grant cycle is usually in November. Grant writing workshops are generally held in advance of each grant deadline. See the Calendar of Events and Deadlines for more details.

DONORSCHOOSE GRANTS
In general, the PTEF does not accept grant requests for consumable items that are used daily in the classroom (pencils, chalk, markers, etc.). Because the PTEF recognizes a need for these items, we have partnered with DonorsChoose.org by participating in the Double Your Impact program. When an individuals donates to an eligible request submitted by Pike teachers, the PTEF will match the donation.
